Apartment In Nueva Andalucia (Marbella, Spain)
Hello, my friends!
In today’s post, I want to share with you the photos of the recently completed project by our studio. It is a modern two-story apartment located in Nueva Andalucia near to Marbella in Spain.
The goal and client’s brief was to create a spacious, minimalist interior with lot’s of natural light and neutral colors as the main color palette. Mainly the walls were painted white to give extra space and reflect natural light coming from the windows. The flooring everywhere is made of beige natural marble.
The living room is united with dining and kitchen area, to band together these spaces we used beige color for accent walls and furniture. The orange was picked as an accent color to give some connection with the exterior of the house as well, as terrace and facade of the building are painted in terracotta color.
These shelves were used to divide living area from dining and kitchen:
Here is the dining area and the kitchen. These amazing bar chairs are from Swedish brand By Crea – I absolutely love their modern and stylish design. The kitchen is all white with lacquered cabinets – the idea was to create a functional design that will not age with time.
Here is the main bedroom. These beautiful bedside tables are again By Crea. We made these grey mirrors to add some depth to the room and also to highlight its architectural forms. We mainly played with monochrome grey colour palette aiming to create a relaxing, tranquil space. Great attention was played to the quality of materials, such as comfortable mattress and expensive linen bedding.
Next to the bedroom, there was a little space, which was converted into a boudoir – two large windows provide lots of natural light, ideal for applying makeup.
The design of the master bathroom is masculine and minimalistic. The tiles and sanitary ware are by Spanish brand Porcelanosa.
The apartment has two additional bedrooms. The clients’ intention was to use them as guest rooms so they asked to create comfortable and relaxing spaces resembling hotel rooms.
The second bedroom has a large window facing the inner garden with palms and banana trees, so the inspiration for tropical decor was taken from there:
The remaining two bathrooms were designed in the same style as the master bathroom:
Finally, here is the little reading nook on the terrace, which we decorated with beautiful cushions from the Eyes of India.
