An Old Ladder Repurposed For Wall Decor
In today’s post we want to share this cool DIY project sent by one of our readers, Caitlin Pierce. We love how she transformed an old ladder into a stylish wall decor in rustic style. Ladder is used as a shelf for the photos of her “sweet fur babies”. Together with garland lights and wood signs they create a beautiful display. This is a great idea to adapt for any empty wall in your house.
The great thing about this DIY project that it doesn’t require any special skills or tools. All what you need to do is to hang horizontally the ladder and then decorate it with frames and other decor. Apart from photos you can use plants (climbing types like ivy would look especially cool), vases, corals, wood signs and ornaments. Don’t forget about the lighting: soft accent lights will make your wall decor look magic!
Old ladder is a wonderful object to use in your home decor that will always add a touch of rustic charm to it. You can create some many wonderful DIY projects with it: for example, you can repurpose it as a plant holder, a towel rack, a book shelf and even a ceiling lamp!
What do you think about this idea of transforming an old ladder into wall decor? Looking forward to your comments!
