Interior Design Of The Apartment in Estepona, Spain

Spread the love

In today’s post, I would love to share the images of the recent project accomplished by our studio in Estepona, Spain.

The apartment consists of the large living room with dining area, kitchen, master bedroom, kid’s room, and guest bedroom.

Clients love classic French style with elements of Art Deco.

I have picked the neutral cream color palette with some blue and dark navy accents. Dark chocolate wood also adds some depth and definition to the space. Decorative moldings on the walls create classic atmosphere.

The large L-shaped sofa is from Roches Bobois, dining table and chairs are from Ceppi.

The general lighting everywhere is provided primarily by spotlights, apart from the large pendant light above the dining table which is a part of decoration too.

In the entrance area, the large wardrobe and the storage for shoes is only 30 cm deep and will be made in the local carpentry.

The large wall along staircase is decorated by a gallery of black and white photos.

The master bedroom is decorated in warm beige and blue color palette. The large wall panel behind the bed is made of Ralph and Lauren wallpaper. Set of furniture is from Ceppi.

We added a cornice around the room with decorative LED lighting – it creates a warm, relaxing ambiance.

Blue curtains are matched with bedding and wallpaper, while colorful decorative pillows add a bit more of colour to the room.

Initially, the wooden roof was painted dark brown which looked a bit oppressive. After repainting it in warm white, the room started to feel big and airy.

The kid’s room continues the beige and blue decorative scheme of the house. This is for a boy of 7 years old and I tried to make the room look a bit more grown-up so that the decor will be relevant at least for several years.

The main challenge was to allocate the bed, since the room has two large windows and parents didn’t want the bed to be near the door. I suggested this model, where the bed has three high sides, upholstered in fabric.

Large built-in wardrobe and a set of shelves provide enough storage for clothes, books, and toys.

What do you think of this project? Looking forward for your comments!
