The saying of ‘An ordinary joyful moment’ was once brought up by a Japanese author Haruki Murakami. He came up with it when he was standing in the kitchen, one hand slicing the freshly baked bread while the other hand was grabbing the food to eat. He also enjoys listening to Brahms’s chamber and watching the autumn sunlight draw a shadow on the white paper-stained window. With the ‘ShiGuang’ impression, designer subverted the whole former way of her client’s life. When the house owner was about to give up on her house, she happened to see a case that Lyu Aihua did ten years ago. The owner’s trust has pushed the cooperation to run smoothly and she even skipped the steps of the renderings. The house is vast indeed, but In the past, the family has to huddle together to sleep. Due to the illuminating problem, the utilization rate of the upper floor space was meager. Lyu likes to observe the lifestyles of others, and tries to do her best to help them develop personalized solutions – Six customized bedrooms. Five are facing south, only one is facing north. Designers emphasized the craftsmanship details and created a room full of artistic beauty in the furnishing.

The entrance has a beautiful black wardrobe with brass finish, the floor is covered with geometric handmade tiles. The blue statue of victory creates an ancient Greek romantic jazz mood.

Original artworks make every corner of this house very unique and lively.

Through large windows, opened skylights, and transparent partitions, designers solved the lighting problem.

The stairwell where people stayed for a short time was in the best place for the whole house to illuminate.

The living room is filled with light and color. Large skylight allows the sunlight to freely enter the room and joyfully play on the orange sofa. Ultramarine blue completes the color scheme.

Dining room with black cabinets could look very masculine but red accents create a playful mood.

Tea room is separated from the living room with a bar table adjacent to the sofa.

The main bedroom continues the design scheme with its orange and blue color palette.

The daughter’s room with it’s subtle pink hues looks very tranquil, warm, and feminine.

The work of American artist Keith Haring derives a children’s chair, and a touch of bright yellow brings a playful and joyful atmosphere.

Children’s work in the study roomalso look very vivid and touching, like all other artworks in the house.

Even the laundry room was carefully designed and well thought about. With the green statue and red tabourettes it continues the cheerful, happy mood of the house.
