Work In Progress: Apartment In Puerto Banus, Bedroom
In today’s post, I want to share with you the progress over the current interior design project our studio is busy with. As I mentioned in the previous post, the apartment is located in Puerto Banus – one of the most exclusive and expensive areas on Costa Del Sol.
The clients have requested for classic baroque style with elegant Italian furniture and exquisite lighting. We have increased the bedroom area by removing the partition wall between the bedroom and the balcony. The room became much more spacious and light – exactly what we aimed for allocating heavy classic furniture.
Here are the 3D renderings of the space. The walls are painted in light cream color and decorated with beautiful stucco and moldings.
The flooring is Italian Carrara Marble. The furniture is from the famous Italian brand, Angelo Cappellini.
Apart from the bed, we allocated a small sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table on the former balcony.
The large wall to wall wardrobe will be made to measure. The goal was to make the room light and airy – perfect for a vacation next to the sea. The classic furniture might make the space feel too small and overwhelmed – we tried to reduce this effect by playing with the light colour palette and minimal textures.
the entrance to the bedroom will be moved to the former balcony area, which became now the dining room. To warm the apartment we used the modern heating system, which combines water boiler, underfloor heating and air-conditioning. This will ensure that apartment feels cool in summer and warm in winter.
The living room continues the neo-classic style. The soft grey and beige color palette was inspired by the colors of pearl. Golden elements add warmth and luxurious elegance to the space.
The spectacular chandelier completes the look:
