Your bedroom should be an oasis for you after a long day at work – or as a place to escape the kids.

1. Add a statement piece
There are several “pieces” you can choose to add to your master bedroom to change it up. A new headboard on even the simplest bed makes it look sleek and elegant. A large mirror with an interesting design or frame will not only add class to the room, but will make it look bigger. Adding a stylish and glamorous chandelier or light fixture can make the room look more stylish. And replacing a piece in your room – such as a bedside table or a dresser – with a vintage or unique piece can make the room look unique. 2. Paint or wallpaper
