Gulas Con Setas Recipe

In today’s post, I want to share this recipe that I tried a few days ago in one of the local restaurants in Marbella – “gulas con setas”.

Angula is the Spanish word for Elver. Authentic elver is very expensive and hard to find, but in the shop, you can easily buy artificially grown Angula (imitation) which is called La Gula. Here is how it looks like:

Ingredients

La Gula Del Norte – 1 pack
150 g of mushrooms
Olive oil
Garlic
Salt
Parsley

Preparation

Lightly fry the mushrooms with a drop of olive oil.
Add La Gula previously sautéed with garlic and chilli pepper to the mushrooms.
In a bowl mix the oil, garlic, and parsley and add the mixture of the mushrooms and La Gula. That’s it!
