Vintage Home in the Netherlands
Good evening, dear friends!
An eye-candy in today’s post. I have recently stumbled upon this beautiful home in Netherlands where beautiful vintage finds are combined with modern finishes and elegant Mid-century modern style.
Recently I’ve got two clients who asked me for a Chartreuse colour to decorate their homes. Personally, I am not a huge admirer of this colour: I find it too flashy and kitschy if used in large quantities. So I always suggest to go for more muted, saturated colours. In this home particularly I totally love this lighter shade of Chartreuse, which looks warm and inviting. I like how it is combined with natural oak finishes and gray-blue cabinets in the kitchen. Something to pin on my Pinterest boards for inspiration in the future:)
It is great that the owners decided to preserve the authenticity of this house and also enhanced them with some vintage finds. It creates a very nostalgic and warm feeling.
I absolutely loved the idea of making a feature wall with different wallpaper leftovers – it looks very original, one of a kind!
What do you think of this home tour? Did you like it? Looking forward for your comments!
