Hello, my dear friends!
Wishing you happy holidays and hope you have an amazing time with your family and friends. New year is almost here – it’s time to make new resolutions and review achievements of 2016. For me it was very intense yet very happy year. I have completed 15 projects and the experience I have got from it was invaluable. In this post I want to share with you the last project of 2016 – small apartment in black and white. It was the most lasting project since we started renovation in January. Then for several private reasons the client had to stop works for a while and it is only the past week we made the last finishing touches and finally – photoshooting.
As usually I want to share a couple of pictures of the apartment “before” – it was really in disastrous condition:
My clients wanted to get minimalistic Scandinavian look with black and white colour palette. Here are some collages I have prepared for them in Photoshop:
And also some sketches:
The floor plans for this project I created using Live Home 3D. When I worked on the project the design started to become more serene and masculine. I decorated the walls using photography of my dear friend and very talented photographer Olga Emrullah. Most of the furniture including kitchen was purchased in Ikea. Wallpaper is from Swedish brand Eco.
Here is the final result:
Gorgeous interior photography is by Olga Shangina.
