Decorating Ideas for a Living Room

Spread the love

Hello, hello and Happy Sunday! Today I am delighted to have with us interior designer Konstadina Nastou. She is based in Greece and has worked in the industry for more then 10 years. Specially for L’Essenziale she agreed to put together three inspirational design schemes for decorating a living room.

All of them were made using Olioboard– wonderful app, where you can design rooms in 2D and 3 D and also shop the items that you’ve picked.  Konstadina has made 3 options for decorating the same room: one for her mother, the second one for her sister and the last one for herself. They all reflect different interior styles and colour preferences.

The first board has vintage and classic look with traditional area rug and yellow chevron wallpaper. Konstadina has chosen this wonderful green velvet sofa from One Kings Lane, as well as elegant walnut credenza and some pillows from the same retailer. The yellow armchairs, the golden floor lamp, the wallpaper, the rug and the rest of the pillows are from the Hayneedle.  Finally, the side tables come from the Lamps Plus.

The second decorative scheme has very distinctive and eye-catching look. Navy blue was combined with deep and striking red – as the result, design that makes a statement… Beautiful rug with blue geometric pattern and red border was picked from the Zinc Door, as well as some of the cushions.  Drinks cabinets, armchairs and red ottomans are from Hayneedle. The royal blue ottoman, console and the rest of the pillows are from One Kings Lane.
