DIY Project: How to Make a Zip-Free Long Cushion Cover
Happy Monday, friends! Today I am going to share this really simple, easy and super fast way to make a zip-free long cushion cover. Honestly, it took me only 15 minutes today to make one. I am sure many of you will know the trick, but I thought that others will still benefit.
So here is what you need:
- Long piece of fabric (mine was 135 cm long and 45 cm wide)
- Thread
- Cushion inside
Steps
1. Hem nicely the short edges of your fabric.
2. Assemble the cushion cover for sewing. The fabric should be placed front sides facing each other. Overlap the short edges forming the flap (I’ve made around 8 cm overlap to make sure that the cushion won’t be visible):
3. Pin around the edge to make sure the fabric won’t shift while you sew. Sew all around. Turn the cover inside out:
4. Put the cushion inside. Voila’!
