Interior Design of Apartment in Puerto Banus (Bedrooms)
In today’s post I want to share the progress on interior design project, that I am currently working on. This is the apartment, located in Puerto Banus, Marbella. In previous post, I have shown the living room and terrace, while in this post I want to present the 3D visuals of the master bedroom and the clients’ daughter’s bedroom.
When I was looking for the inspiration for the master bedroom, I stumbled upon this beautiful image on Pinterest:
I realized that my client liked the same color palette very much, because most of her clothes was in similar color combination. Subtle pastel greens and dusty pinks is a perfect choice for a bedroom – very delicate, tranquil and feminine.
Dark purple adds contrast and make this space more grounded, defined:
I opted for textiles without any patterns to make the space look elegant and sophisticated. To add interest to the space I used various textures and layers.
The wall in front of the bed looked too empty, we decided with the client to put there a small dressing table:
Tall, full body mirror in a bedroom is also a must:
Large built in wardrobe provides lots of storage without cluttering the room:
For the bedroom of the clients’ daughter my inspiration started from the beautiful wallpaper that I found at Illustre Paris:
The rattan bed is from Zara Home, on the there are ceiling cute lamps from Lampatron:
When decorating a kids room it is very important to add a writing desk – a place where the child will study, draw, read. Ergonomics is important, so bear in mind that the table’s and chair’s height should correspond to the age and height of the child. If the table is too big or too small, it is unevitable that with time it will result in back pain and scoliosis.
I added lots of texture: rugs, decorative textiles, roman blinds to make this room feel cozy and inviting. The pink colour palette looks very girly and tender.
What do you think of this project? Looking forward to your comments!
