If you ever did a renovation in your house, most probably you have some wallpaper leftovers hidden in your pantry. Today I want to tell you how to get rid of these unnecessary building materials, transforming with their help the interior of your house. If you do not keep old wallpaper or don’t have enough for your design project, check in the nearest construction store if you can buy samples – usually they cost very little.

1. Chest of drawers

Wallpaper can transform the most ordinary chest of drawers. Feel free to experiment – you can use wallpaper to decorate the facade, inside the drawers or on the contrary, top of the furniture piece. Bright and striking pattern will turn a common item into the art object!

2. The back of the old cupboard

This furniture piece often filled with various decor items and lovely trinkets can start playing a central role in your interior if you decorate its back with bold wallpaper. You just need to use wallpaper that contrasts with your walls so it is more eye-catching and striking.

3. Walk-in closet or pantry

Few people pay attention to the decor of closet rooms or pantries. And in vain! Our eyes will be delighted each time we need to pick a scarf from the closet or a chemical from a pantry. Chevron, striped wallpaper will look great in small places like that.

4. Coffee table or tray

As a base you can use a ready-made tray, but you can also make one with the old picture frame. Equally beautiful  will look on the small surface one type of wallpaper or a collage of several. Unleash the imagination!

5. Wall decor

The wall panel can be in the tone of the walls or alternatively, stand out as a bright contrasting spot – square, rectangular, round, in a frame or without it, it could be used single, diptych or triptych. Unlike with the given dimensions of the cabinet or tray, in the process of creating a panel, there are more possibilities for creativity to open up.

6. Zoning

In a room designed for several needs, you can visually separate one zone from another using wallpaper. Do you want to build a workplace in a niche? Then draw clear boundaries of your work space and decorate the surface of the wall with contrasting wallpaper.

7. Dining table top

If you are tired of traditional tablecloths decorate the dining table surface with wallpaper and cover it with glass – this is a very beautiful and practical solution that all members of your family will appreciate.

Tip: If you use vinyl wallpaper you can clean it afterward with damp cloths. However, the paper wallpaper will require additional protection from dirt – it is better to cover it with varnish or glass.
