Product Review: Eurohike Ribble 3 Tent From Blacks
August in Spain is the time when everyone is heading to the beach. The most beautiful beaches in Costa Del Sol are located on the Atlantic coast – right after Tarifa, you can see that the seascape changes drastically, the sand becomes white and even the colour of water is different. When I go there on the weekend I usually leave Marbella in the morning, spend all day on the beach and return in the evening, but my secret wish was always to try to stay overnight on one of those secluded corners right on the coast. That’s why when Blacks offered me to review one of their tents, I was beyond excited about this new experience.
I have chosen their Eurohike Ribble 3 Tent – it has this cool feature of the interactive door which can be used in 4 ways: as a sun shelter, a porch area, rolled up or fully closed. When you are all day under the baking Spanish sun, you particularly enjoy the possibility to hide from it under a shelter.
The Ribble comes in a special bag, which is very compact and lightweight:
I had no problems to carry it several hundred meters until I found a perfect spot for my little camp:
Inside the bag there is an instruction on how you can assemble the tent – it is waterproof and sewn up to the tent to make sure you will never lose it:
To assemble it you need to unfold the tent, put together the poles on the ground then and insert them inside the tent to support the structure.
When put together the tent is very spacious and comfortable to be inside. It has the breathable inner and quarter panel windows with curtains. As I mentioned before the interactive door is probably the coolest feature of this tent if you are looking for a shelter from sun and rain but want to stay outdoors.
My resume: I really enjoyed the camping experience with Eurohike Ribble tent and without any doubt recommend it to all camping lovers.
