The days are getting warmer and warmer and it’s perfect time to think about upcoming summer parties with family and friends.

You can hardly find someone who would refuse to attend a pool party. So why not to organize it yourself?  Here are some tips that will help you to get ready for it.

Preparation

  • Find the right swimming pool. You can use your own if you have it, or rent a swimming pool in a hotel or private residence on Airbnb.

  • Determine the date of the party. Find out in advance whether your friends are invited to another party on that day, so not to put them in an awkward position. Check what the weather will be – ideally you need a hot day with sunny weather.
  • Prepare the swimming pool for the party. The pool and decking area needs to be perfectly clean and neat. Call specialists, if required: there are companies like The Blue Lagoons for example that organize all sort of cleaning and maintaining services. Think about some festive decorations – colourful balloons and inflatable swing rings will set the right mood.

  • Think about food and drinks. Good options could be pizza, Chinese / Japanese dishes, soft drinks, and juices – something you could just grab from the plate and go. Think about your tastes and the tastes of your friends. Here are some cool ideas of recipes for a pool party.
