5 Best Business Class Long Haul in 2018
I presume that no one would disagree that traveling in business class is much more enjoyable than economic, especially if your flight is a long haul and especially if you travel in one of the best airlines which puts so much efforts to make their services stand out. I today’s post I want to make a roundup of the airlines that offer the best business class long haul facilities.
According to the product rating and aviation safety website AirlineRatings.com, which came out with the list of the best-anticipated airlines in 2018, the top best flight company is Air New Zealand.
The site considered such factors as passenger review ratings, fleet age, profitability, key product offerings like a premium economy on the long-haul routes, investment rating, operational safety, and also seating options in the other classes.
Here is the list of top 5 airlines in 2018
Source – (http://cheapfirstclass.com/ ):
1. Air New Zealand
2. Qantas
3. Singapore Airlines
4. Virgin Australia
5. Virgin Atlantic
The Perth-based AirlinesRatings.com explained why it chose Air New Zealand, saying that such factors as in-flight innovations, financial performance, Â young fleet, environmental leadership, and motivation of the staff were record-breaking.
It is interesting that no American airlines were included in the list, and such carriers as  Lufthansa, British Airways, and EVA (Taiwan-based carrier), which were on the list last year, simply dropped out.
What is more, only one European airline was among the top ones (Virgin Atlantic).
The vast majority of the list concentrates on Asia-Pacific territory, which means that the main flock of the resources come to this region of the world.
AirlineRatings.com chose the winners of these nominations:
– Best First Class: Singapore Airlines have won the first place on the pedestal replacing Etihad because of their coming of new unveiled first class suites.
– Best Business Class: Virgin Australia. The carrier introduced its business class furniture last summer and won the first place in this category.
– Best Cabin Crew: Singapore Airlines. These Asian airlines were marked for their superb staff.
– Best Catering: Qantas Airways. This airline keeps on winning this place of this category for the fourth year, thanks to their chef, Neil Perry, and of course, his Rockpool Dining Group.
– Best Lounges: Qantas Airways were in the first place because of its legendary offerings in the lounge zone.
– Best Domestic Class: Qantas won the first prize because of their great domestic in-flight service and seats.
– Best Long-Haul Airline: According to AirlineRatings.com, these carriers are the best in such regions as Korean Air (Asia-Pacific), Etihad (Middle East), Air Canada (The Americas), and Virgin Atlantic (Europe).
Definitely, the criteria, judged by the AirlineRatings.com are not the only ones. There are many other awards that were taken into account to define the winner. For example, Qatar Airways won the first prize in the category of the best business class of World Airline Awards for 2017. Therefore, this fact also influenced the final verdict of the AirlineRatings.com’s judges.
Consequently, the paradigm of the best quality service is now shifted. Today, the world’s business class of passengers switched to Asia-Pacific region, not European or American one. That means, that the changes in the economy of those territories and the status of the airlines are about to become higher.
