Their vision of a movement in the design branch aspired the duo to establish one+eleven. The two designers are living with the idea to convert unique and distinctive concept furniture into reality.

The origin of concept furniture can be traced back to concept art. Designers’ ambition is to expand concept art by combining object art and furniture. Limited series of masterpieces is the result of the interaction between art and traditional craftsmanship. The observer should inspire himself with the help of the objects.

The evolution of an original idea, through detailed design and final production results in completing a prototype. The baseline for this journey is the original idea, which is the most important step of the process. The prototype is a simplified test unit, which can both be seen as a pre-series or as one of kind unit. The name one+eleven reflects the pre-series and following eleven production units. At one+eleven the prototype is always the starting point for further development and the manufacturing of the design line, always limited to eleven units.
