10 Stunning Home Decor Pieces I Found On Etsy
I must confess that I have become a real Etsy addict. Just received today my second clutch ordered on this wonderful site, where everyone can sell all things handmade and vintage and was absolutely delighted with it!
Etsy for me is a kind of adventure. Buying things there is like digging and finding a treasure: there are thousands of little shops and sometimes you can spend hours before you find what you want, but the find can be a real gem and it is definitely worth the time you spent. Also, since this site is specifically devoted to local artisans and artists, there is a big chance that you will get exclusive, one-of-a-kind piece you will never see in a nearby store. Many shop owners offer a service of creating things custom designed for you, so that you can make any modifications you want.
Etsy is good not only for purchasing jewellery and fashion accessories. You can also shop there beautiful and unique pieces for your home. Here are four good reasons, why sometimes I prefer to shop things on Etsy, than in a huge home decor store:
– You can find exclusive and rare things
– You can get a good deal from a shop owner, since he is also a manufacturer and there is no intermediary in the selling process. Besides, you have opportunity to communicate with him or her directly.
– All things sold on Etsy are completely handmade (unless they are vintage), so many shops offer excellent quality and craftsmanship.
– You have a good feeling from supporting local craftsmen instead of buying things from huge corporations.
