Turkish Walks With Photogrpaher Olga Emrullah

Spread the love

Quote.001

These words of wisdom by Oprah Winfrey come to my mind when I think of my very talented friend – Olga Emrullah. Her amazing photography always inspires me and opens to me a new, exciting world, which she sees through the lenses of her camera …

We met almost eight years ago in sunny and carefree Maldives, where we used to live. She just made her first, yet confident steps in professional photography and thanks to her I still have some of my favorite snapshots, taken in the most beautiful place in the world.

After Maldives Olga moved to Antalya and since then Turkey is one of her primary muses. I don’t know why, but Turkey always excited and attracted me too. It remains one of the countries, where I seek and always find inspiration for my interior design job. The kaleidoscope of colours on the oriental bazaar, tribal rugs and kilims, handmade ceramics with intricate patterns and luxurious textiles –  there is so much you can find and fall in love in this amazing country.

What I love about Olga’s works, is the positive energy coming from her photographs. They are full of colours, light, and life. But then again, like Turkey itself! Today I invite you to take a walk around its hidden corners and perhaps, discover it from the side you never knew about.  Enjoy!
