With this simple tutorial you can easily transform a cheap thrift store picture into a bold and unconventional wall art:
2. Knitted Bedhead
I am deeply in love with this hand-plaited and hand-dyed bedhead – it looks rustic and elegant at the same time. Just need to find the right size knitting needles, I suppose:
3) A Driftwood Seahorse
Easy, low cost, yet very original and attractive wall decor – a seahorse made of a bundle of drift wood. Here is the tutorial:
4) Old books lampshade
The idea to make a lampshade out of recycled paper (I was thinking to use vintage labels of wine though) came in to my head before I saw this this picture. Anyway really love this pendant light made of old books pages and music sheets (Source):
5) Here is another cool lampshade made of an old fruit basket
Details on how to make it you may find over here:
6) Crocheted kitchen cabinet
Love, love, love this project – brilliant idea and seems like not very difficult to accomplish, here is the source
7) Ombre Triangle Inspiration Board
Don’t know what to do with old hangers? Try to make this beautiful ombre inspiration board. Project by Leona Lane.
8) Paper Lanterns
I remember we used to make them in the school at our craft lessons! It’s time to remember them as these beautiful lanterns will become a wonderful decoration for any shelf or console. Found on Sweet Paul.
9) Flower Chandelier
This beautiful chandelier is so romantic and charming! I am definitely trying to make one this spring. By Honestly WTF
10) Folk Table Lamp
Colourful lampshade by Joanna Henderson is made of rustic fabrics, ribbons and braids.

Finally my favourite project – who would think that a simple marine rope would look so cool as a room divider? A low cost and easy to make DIY project – you will find the tutorial here.
