Sneak Peek Of New Products In L’Essenziale Boutique
Armenia is an amazing country with outstanding historical and cultural heritage. The amount of local artists and craftsmen is absolutely incredible considering that the population of the whole country is only 3 million. The best way to get introduced yourself with local artisanal products is to go to Vernisage – Â Arts and Crafts market in Yerevan. Hundreds of vendors sell their works, which include fabulous woodcarving, lace, coppersmith products, ceramics, carpets and jewellery.
If you live in the country for a longer period of time (like me), you will absolutely inevitably find yourself immersing deeper and deeper in the local culture. I am in Yerevan for only one month but I have already made several friends among local artists, craftsmen and antique dealers. I feel myself so excited to discover their works as this feeling is similar to treasure hunting. I am absolutely delighted that my boutique helps to promote traditional Armenian craftsmanship and fabulous products made by local artisans.
It is with great pleasure I present today the works of the very talented Armenian artist Anush Khemchyan. The hallmarks of her works are colourful patterns, intricate ornaments and meticulous attention to details.
Below are images of some of her works, which are available for sale in my boutique.
For example, she makes these beautiful ceramic plates, incorporating traditional Armenian designs but giving them a modern twist:
Or these intricate jewelry boxes:
Her colorful tableware will become a wonderful addition to a festive dining table:
And finally hand-painted ceramic vases which will definitely become a focal point of any display:
