• The Corner of Emotions, where children learn to understand and express their feelings and moods

And we can go on with corner of the costumes, corner of the professions, corner of plastic or crafts…

As we can see, the possibilities are as numerous if we are creative, we will be able to create, as already mentioned, a “living nursery”. We must change the corners often in order to promote all the possibilities of the boys and girls, as well as all their possible forms of expression (Verbal, logical-mathematical, gestural-corporal, rhythmic-musical, and plastic).

Differentiate spaces

It is noteworthy that it is appropriate to mark two different spaces where the children know how to distinguish between a zone of action and the resting area. The latter can be differentiated with an area where we have mats, beds or even a possible “hut of rest” where you can enjoy a nod or just sit down to rest.

In addition to this distinction between the corners and the rest area, it would also be appropriate to have a “play area” where they can play with multicultural, cooperative, sensory games…

It would be a cool idea to have a special corner, near the entrance, where you can hang some pictures of the children.
