Recent Decorating Project – Apartment in Historic Center of Moscow
Hello, my dear friends!
In today’s post I wanted to share with you my recent apartment decorating project that I’ve accomplished. It is a one bedroom apartment located in the very heart of Moscow – Bolshaya Nikitskaya street, just ten minutes walking from Kremlin. It is again intended for short term rent like several of my previous projects.
The flat was already renovated – so I was hired to furnish, decorate it and style for a photoshooting. One of the cool elements in the living room were these stump tables handmade by me – in one of the future posts I will share with you how I made them.

The TV stand was purchased in IKEA and decorated with vintage books:
I have made several photos of the street, where the apartment is located and decorated walls with them:
I have picked a branch in the nearby park and painted it in white – it looked cool on the windowsill with some flowers:

The room shape is a little bit long – I wanted to correct the shape using mirrors. So I purchased simple square mirrors from Ikea and made a sort of mosaic with it:

The beautiful carved wooden hooks are from Zara home:
Next to the window I’ve made a small reading nook, which I decorated with burnt pages of old book:

Between two windows there was initially TV. I had moved it to the living room and had to hide the holes somehow – I made this black and white abstract art using a piece of white fabric and knot-dyeing technique.
Balcony is probably my favorite spot in this apartment:
Unfortunately the kitchen cabinets were already there and I had to deal with what I had. I did however purchase the table and chairs, and of course all dishes, decor and accessories:

What do you think about this project? I am interested to hear your opinion!
