If you are visiting Tel Aviv, it’s essential that you take in as much of the city as you can. Tel Aviv is, after all, one of the most stunning locations in the world. Complete with ancient buildings, bustling nightlife and gorgeous beaches; this is a place that you won’t forget in a long time, and you’ll be kicking yourself if you missed out on an area of the city that was well worth seeing.
But how exactly do you achieve this? Well you could walk around all the best spots, but this will take time, meaning you won’t see as much as you might like. Sure, you could take a bus or a cab from place to place, but then you’re looking at the city out of a window, rather than actually experiencing it.

You can see a number of spots throughout the day, and without the need to be stuck in a cab with the local radio playing to get to them! Gordon Beach North To Yarkon River
This 2.6km trail is one of the easiest routes you can take in Tel Aviv, and it is specifically purposed as a bike trail, meaning the ride is smooth and fun. It’s also more on the outskirts of the city, rather than in the city itself.
This means that you are far more engrossed in the wildlife and nature of Tel Aviv, rather than the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Whilst you’re riding, take in a bit of this nature and make sure to stop every now and then. You never know what animal you might spot hiding amongst the flowers!
Hilton Beach
As mentioned previously, the beaches in Tel Aviv are some of the most stunning in the world. There are a number of promenades along them, too, which make them perfect for cycling through. Hilton Beach, specifically, has a number of scenic views and even a few markets nearby, meaning you can stop off and pick up a few artefacts to put in your backpack whilst you’re there!
We hear they have pretty stunning candelabras. But who are we kidding? We’d recommend just ordering any jewish candelabra you find when you get home. After all, you don’t want a great big ornament sticking out of your backpack for the rest of the trip!
Stara Jaffa
Old Jaffa, in Tel Aviv, is one of the most interesting and charming spots you can find. It’s also relatively easy to hop on the bike and cycle your way through it, so long as you are hyper-aware of other tourists who might be lingering to look at the sites.
Out of all the routes, however, this is certainly more of a day trip. You want to make sure that you have provisions for the day as well as water in your backpack if it gets a little hot. It’s well worth the trip, however. In every “best of Tel Aviv ” list, you will find the town of Old Jaffa on there, and what better way to experience it than riding through the streets and becoming one with the buzz of it all?
