Modern Apartment in Autumn Colours – Completed Project
In today’s post I want to share the results of recent project that our interior design studio in Marbella accomplished – stylish modern apartment in Puerto Banus.
It has two bedrooms and a large living area united in an open space with the kitchen. I chose rich saturated colors as the main color scheme as all rooms in this house lack natural light: all light pastel colors would look too dull and wishy-washy. For the living area and the kitchen I opted for saturated beige, olive green and wine red and navy blue used as the accents.
Large corner sofa is on a contrary almost white to give the room freshness and contrast:
I chose dark wooden furniture with golden findings to give room some definition:
While rose metal details add some glamorous touch:
The wallpaper on the wall behind the sofa is from the Belgian brand Omexco. It gives the room additional layer of texture, without creating too much of the visual noise.
The marble top dining table looks very modern and stylish. To visually divide this space from the living area, I have added this statement pendant lamp:
The furniture in the entryway was made custom, to make sure that it perfectly fits into the designated area. Accent chair is in my favorite Marsala color that perfectly matches the olive green of the walls:
Kitchen cupboards repeat the color of wallpaper. Combination of two textures adds some visual interest to the sleek and minimalist design:
Master bedroom continues and develops the colour scheme of the main area. I used softer, more feminine shades of green and pink to make this space very relaxing and tranquil:
Dark wooden accents make visual connection with the living room and create the sense of continuity and flow:
Large built in wardrobe provides enough storage for two people:
Master bathroom has very modern, minimalist design. Beige ceramic tiles look very contemporary and up to date:
My favourite space in this project was the room for the daughter. Joyful artistic wallpaper is from the French brand Illustre, that repeats in the design beautiful paintings of the Parisian artist Laurence Amelie.
All furniture and decor is from Zara home:
