Apartment Makeover: Inspired by Greece
Hello friends!
As you know I recently came back from vacation in Greece. Just before that I made a quick project and today I want to share it with you. When I looked at the photos I realized that it was pretty much inspired by Mediterranean interiors. My clients love Ibiza and to get some inspiration I was looking at some gorgeous villas in Spain and Greece.
First of all, here is how the apartment looked before:
Because of pink walls and furniture it looked too warm but at the same time dark and oppressive.
The cabinets that took half of the space in the living room were useless and not functional, so we decided to get rid of them. My clients asked me to place a queen size bed instead and replace a big sofa with something smaller. The first thing we did was painting walls. We decided to keep the same flooring as it was in good condition.
We bought the frame for bed and the linen cushion bedhead was hanged on an ordinary curtain rod. We have sewn a new cover for the white Ikea sofa that the owners had. The arches were painted bright blue – same colour as the headboard. White linen curtains and small accent furniture complimented the look.
