Before and After: Home Staging Project
Hello, my friends! Today I wanted to share with you my recent home staging project.
I needed to decorate a studio apartment for the rent.
It was in this condition before we started:
The living room was very dark and gloomy.
The kitchen was uninviting and had these old furniture and cabinets:
Finally bathroom was painted in the ugly shade of yellow:
First of all I decided to bring freshness and lightness to the room. White, navy blue and avocado green was defined as the main colour palette. The main furniture was decided to keep the same because of low budget. I used textiles and accessories to freshen it up:
I also painted myself the watercolor abstract picture above the sofa:
This beautiful green chair from Ikea is one of my favorite pieces in this room:
Styling coffee table with books and vases:
Vintage “Volga” car to complete the vignette:
To style the bookcase I used old books without cover and painted them with blue to match the entryway:
Blue and orange always look striking together:
This is how kitchen looks now. We painted it white to add light and freshness. The blue painting above the table was easy and fun DIY project.
We used the same cabinets, just changed the work surface. The window was decorated with navy blue roman blinds.
The tiles in the bathroom were kept the same but we painted the ceiling white and added some blue accessories even here:
The entryway was painted in dark navy blue. The doors of the wardrobes were changed with wooden ones:
Finally the balcony. The orange bicycle is from clients collection and was brought from Amsterdam:
