Favorite Product: Alia Bed
Every month I pick a product that I love and write about it on my blog. In today’s post I wanted to share with you amazing bed called Alia created by my favorite luxury furniture manufacturer from Brazil Louis Kazan.
Alia has very minimalistic design with focus on luxurious finishes. Geometric pattern on leather quilted detail pays homage to Art Deco but in contemporary, original interpretation. What distinguishes furniture of this brand from any other is nonpareil attention to detail – each piece is hand crafted with care, love and attention – similar to raising a child. And of course I need to mention here unique materials that are been used to produce their furniture – precious veneers 6 mm thick are made of exotic certified Brazilian woods, including Imbuia, Zebrano and Pau Ferro.
Each piece is manufactured with a deep respect for natural elements and using only sustainable practices.
Sleek lines of Alia bed highlight the beautiful grain of wood and luxury texture of natural leather, which also comes from Brazil. This diagram shows how the leather is selected – 50% loss during manufacturing process secures perfection of each piece:
Alia bed can be fully customized – you can choose the size of the wall panel, veneer finishing and the colour of leather:
Leather is so pleasant to touch and it is so comfortable to lean on it and read a book before going to sleep:
Alia bedside table combines straight and curvilinear forms, which creates a sense of movement and airiness, yet solidity at the same time:
The base is also available in lacquer, which is perfect for bedrooms in modern, minimalistic style with a touch of glamour:
I really love the dark execution of Alia bed: it looks so sumptuous and opulent and also brings subtle Brazilian touch highlighting the local craftsmanship of this stunning piece:
