How I Ordered Kitchen with Ikea – Part II

Hello, dears!

In one of my previous posts I was talking about the process of purchasing a kitchen with Ikea.

So after I made my preliminary project with Ikea planner, I requested an online consultation to check it. I immediately got a call to reconfirm the day and time for the online conference. 15 minutes prior my appointment I got an email with instructions on how to log in. It is done through Skype and you can see how the Ikea consultant makes corrections on your project, while she discusses them with you on the phone.

There were no major corrections, we just adjusted the amount of shelves and drawers. Also the doors that I have selected were not available and we have substituted them with the ones from different collection.

After we discussed everything I have received a detailed shopping list on my email. So now all I need to do is to go to the nearest IKEA store and purchase everything.

So the kitchen is Tingsryd from IKEA with a laminated worktop. The cooktop, dinnerware, plants, railing and basket is also from Ikea. Black refrigerator and washing machine Gorenje. The rug is from H&M.

I am so excited to see it finally installed and accessorized!
