Studio Apartment in Moscow – Decoration Project

I am so excited to share with you today the photos of the project that I have recently accomplished. It is a small studio apartment in Moscow, which I was hired to decorate.
I decided to paint the walls in the hallway (picked very dark bluish grey colour) and the kitchen, while to keep the existing wallpaper in the living room (due to the tight budget). To embellish it, I painted large trapeze above the sofa in grey colour, inside it I put several posters. Similar trapeze was painted behind the clothes rail next to the bed. I also placed a semi transparent linen curtain to define the sleeping zone from the rest of the room. The sofa remained the same, I just changed the cover and placed several decorative cushions on the top.
Overall I picked sleek minimalistic Scandinavian style with some bohemian touches. In the kitchen I painted the existing Ikea shelves with mint green colour to math the cabinets. I also picked two dark teal Eames chairs, which are one of my favorite furniture pieces.
