Beautiful Eclectic House in Sweden
Hi there, dear friends!
It is always great to start a Monday morning with planning for a week, a cup of real Italian espresso and of course some interior design inspiration.
For today’s post I have prepared for you a house tour, initially spotted on Lovely Life. It belongs to Markus Boman and his 21 year old son Leo. Mainly neutral, in white and dark wood, with some bold colourful accents this home looks very cozy and inviting. Furniture and artwork brought by the owners from their travels to California, South Africa and Hawaii make it very unique and eclectic.
Purple, navy blue, orange and red were picked as accent colours – on neutral background they appear very striking and unexpected.
Kitchen is very serene and modern – I really love that pale blue glass backsplash. Plants add some life and energy to the space:
Gothic style chairs look very surprising in this contemporary dining room. Something to consider: a piece of antique furniture always draws attention and livens up modern minimalistic spaces.
Taupe grey and eye-catching fuchsia – a colour combo made in heaven:
The king of this living room is definitely the orange rug. By the way, I was writing before about how to style a coffee table and here is another cool idea – grouping together several plants:
Incredible ethnic wooden sculpture I presume was brought by the owners from Africa.
Dark wood panel used as a headboard perfectly matches with bedding and rug. Monochromatic colour palette is always a wonderful choice for a bedroom: it makes it very relaxing and tranquil…
Totally want to try one day this unconventional window treatment made of bamboo sticks: perfect for a bathroom to create privacy and natural feel.
