Kitchen Remodel by Lakbir Design

February 15, 2017

Hello, dear friends!

I thought I would share with you this amazing project done by a fellow designer Lakbir from New York based company Lakbir Design.

Bright and bold space with luxurious finishes and so many interesting details. Amazing Brazilian quartzite stone, the hardware, the beautiful lighting concept for the breakfast nook and the custom artwork medallion are some of my favorites.

I so fell in love with these tangerine bar stools and gorgeous lighting. I love how Lakbir used both contemporary and very classic fixtures in one space, creating elegant yet very relaxed look.
Another feature which immediately catches attention in this room is dramatic artwork – golden flower on black background – what a statement piece!

Lakbir also mentioned that there were plenty challenges during project – they had our back against wall when the stone would not fit, the appliance pulls did not match, they needed a new 220V line for appliances or had to incorporate a pot filler connection… However they were able to overcome all these challenges.

You can read more about this project here.
