No longer do you have to think twice about buying a vanity mirror with lights. It is no longer associated with the likes of Hollywood alone, or with movie stars or with the rich and famous. As we look around we see how very important appearance is to not just the profession woman or the celebrity but females from every background and diversity all feel quite sensitively about their facial appearance.
Let’s have a look at some of the advantages to be gained from owning a makeup vanity mirror with lights.
#1. Wall Mounted or Fixed Mirror
As the name suggest this type of mirror is mounted on a flat surface usually a wall. This type of mirror cannot be moved as the mounted mirrors therefore it is not mobile. The advantage to having this type of mirror is that as it is wall mounted it does not stick out of place as some mounted mirrors do. Mostly the surface area of these mirrors is large so that one can see a bigger area of reflection. People generally prefer them because of their aesthetic and wooden finishing.
Both of these types of mirrors can be set up with lights. Most vanity mirrors with lights run on electricity and some run on batteries. Some people prefer to have them with battery back-up and mirrors with these options are expensive. It is also important to note the shades of lighting that are being set in the mirror as it can make the difference when applying for both day and night times. There are different lightings according to ones need so that they can groom themselves according to the time of day.
This daylight setting helps you create the actual feel of a sunlit area and makes the visibility aspect brighter and prominent.
This setting adds a darker lighting background and a tint of pink shade is given to the individual’s face and more warmness is given in the light shade for the makeup.
This type of lighting is used to simulate normal lighting conditions which are usually a lighted room. In most cases the vanity mirrors comes attached however there are some mirrors which can also be bought without the vanity attachments according to the individual’s choices.
#5. Materials Used
Most vanity mirrors with lights use a wide variety of materials ranging from wood, iron, brass and plastic. These materials come in various designs and patters according to the individuals taste. The vanity selections usually depend on the decor of the room that houses the mirror and according to it different types can be selected. In some old homes mainly Victorian types uses the vanity made of dark wood as it complements with the rest of the home and in more contemporary and new age homes chrome and white glass finish is selected.
This aspect is one of the prime criteria’s in selecting the vanity mirror as different age group person prefer different sizes. For instance the youth may prefer small mirrors for the bath area. In some cases adults may prefer larger and a bigger mirror which is more practical.
