Hello guys! How are you doing? I had a really lovely weekend and yesterday I went to the event called “Drink and Draw” – it is basically an art lesson teaching people who don’t have any painting skills at all. It was the first time I attended it, but I liked it so much so that I will definitely visit more of them in the future.

Yesterday’s theme was “Impressionism” and we were given reproductions of paintings of famous french artists, like Cézanne, Degas, Manet and Monet and we were supposed to make our own interpretations of them (after a glass of wine which would relax our brains and stimulate creativity). I have chosen flowers by Cézanne – I really loved the striking vivid colours that just pop up from the dark background. I liked that there were no rules – we were just expressing on the paper our mood and our vision of colours. What was the result? You may see from the photos below.

Next lesson’s theme will be body painting with a naked male model and I’m definitely not gonna miss it! 🙂
