11 Cool DIY Projects to Try in 2015

I love DIY projects: for me it is a possibility to express creativity, as well as make something that will suite my style and taste. In this post I have picked several cool DIY projects I am going to try in 2015.

1. Paint Dipped Picture Frames
With this simple tutorial you can easily transform a cheap thrift store picture into a bold and unconventional wall art:

2. Knitted Bedhead

I am deeply in love with this hand-plaited and hand-dyed bedhead – it looks rustic and elegant at the same time. Just need to find the right size knitting needles, I suppose:

3) A Driftwood Seahorse

Easy, low cost, yet very original and attractive wall decor – a seahorse made of a bundle of drift wood. Here is the tutorial

4) Old books lampshade

The idea to make a lampshade out of recycled paper (I was thinking to use vintage labels of wine though) came in to my head before I saw this this picture. Anyway really love this pendant light made of old books pages and music sheets (Source):
