Required Supplies:

  • Used photo frame
  • Quarter meter of chicken wire
  • Three door knobs medium or small
  • A Drill
  • Staple Gun
  • Paints
  • Scissors
  • A small drill bit

Directions:

  1. With the picture frame, remove the glass back as it will be replaced with chicken wire. After taking the glass from the photo frame, color the frame with any desired color.
  2. Cut a square of chicken wire, just enough for it to overlap the inside hollow of the frame.
  3. Using a staple gun, staple at least each corner on the back to secure the chicken wire.
  4. With a drill, make holes on the bottom part of the frame for a place to attach the knobs.

Required Supplies:

  • Assortment of large and small beads
  • High quality fishing line
  • A one or two inch wooden dowel

Directions:

  1. Measure the distance between the top of the door frame and the floor.
  2. Cut multiple fishing lines with the same height, and put the beads on the string.
  3. Tie each bead-containing strand you make to the dowel rod.
  4. Once complete, nail in two screws on the inside of the door frame at the top.
  5. Make multiple loops with another strand of fishing line on each end of the rod. You can use instant adhesive for this process of making loops.
  6. Hang the rod on the nails where it’s being supported by the loops

DIY Stenciled Floor

Stenciled flooring is a fantastic way to add a desired atmosphere or design to the teen bedroom. Also it is a wonderful opportunity for a teenager to reflect his or her personality.

DIY stenciled flooring can have many advantages over using pre-made commercial stencils, as they offer much more options on making it completely custom designed.

Instructions

  1. Create a design using a simple design software, such as Microsoft Paint for an example.
  2. Print the design on a white piece of paper
  3. Place the paper on a piece of plastic, and cut out the preferred design.
  4. Use adhesive product to glue the design to stenciled flooring

And there we have it, now all that is required is to choose the paint colour, and to choose where to paint the stencils. There are two options: they can either be painted randomly on the visible floor, or as a border fashion where they go along near the creases of the walls.

French memo boards are great for adding a bit of color to the room and also for putting things like notes and photos on. They’re very easy to make and cost very little for materials, usually no more than 5$.

Required Supplies

  1. Canvas
  2. Some Fabric
  3. A Batting
  4. Ribbon
  5. Buttons
  6. Staple gun
  7. And Finally a Need and Thread

Instructions

  1. Firstly take the batting, lay it in the floor then place the canvas on top.
  2. Trim excess batting, leaving just enough to fold over to the back of the canvas frame.
  3. Fold the batting to over on the canvas frame back, and try to staple every 4 to 6 inches
  4. If necessary, use a hammer to ensure the staples are all the way in.
  5. Lay your desired fabric, and place the canvas over it, with the batting side in contact with the fabric.
  6. Trim excess fabric, leaving just enough to fold over covering the batting on the back of that canvas.
  7. For every 4 to 6 inches, ensure to staple the fabric.
  8. Now it is time for attaching the ribbon. Diagonally align the ribbon on the canvas, from one corner to the next.
  9. Stable each end of the ribbon to the back of the canvas.
  10. To keep a nice diagonal pattern, try to keep the ribbons as parallel as possible.
  11. Now it’s time to hang it on the wall.
